Home to some of the worlds rarest flora and fauna, giant tortoises, incredible birdlife and seven breathtaking white powdery sand beaches, Frégate Island Private is possibly one of the last places on earth to be truly deserving of being described as a 'tropical island paradise'.
Barefoot eco-luxury defines the experience at Frégate, with just sixteen villas and a maximum of forty guests allowed at any one time there is a real sense of privacy and seclusion. Constructed of native mahogany and blending harmoniously with their natural surroundings each villa is light and spacious with colonial-style furniture, large bedroom with four poster bed, living area, state of the art technology and a large terrace with day bed and jacuzzi.
Days are easily filled exploring the island and its beautiful beaches or lounging around the resorts two freshwater pools. For the more adventurous there is an array of watersports available at the Yacht Club, Marina and PADI Dive Centre whilst for those in need of pampering there is the Rock Spa, a haven of serenity aloft its stunning cliff top setting. Children are well catered for at Frégate's Cast Away Club with its range of outdoor activities, crafts and cookery. In the evening, guests can look forward to an impressive set of culinary experiences. Frégate House, serves a gourmet menu based around the islands local produce whilst Plantation House turns into a romantic restaurant serving traditional Creole cuisine. Guests can also dine in the privacy of their own villa, at the Beach Bar or enjoy a romantic beach dinner at Anse Bambous.
