The Hotel de Russie is situated in the fashionable Via del Babuino, next to the Piazza del Popolo and close to the Spanish Steps in the very heart of Rome. First designed as a hotel in the early 19th century by Valadier, it changed owners several times prior to being taken over by Rocco Forte Hotels.
The picturesque terrace gardens are one of the hotel’s main features, providing a tranquil oasis into which you can escape from the bustle of the city.
The hotel has 122 bedrooms including 29 suites plus the Vaselli, Picasso (overlooking the gardens and Pincio), Popolo (overlooking the Piazza del Popolo) and the incredible Nijinsky suites. Most rooms have beautiful views over either the garden, the piazza or the rooftops of Rome.
