The USA is a global brand. Bigger and brighter than anything you've ever seen before, the American dream has resulted in a nation as diverse as it is huge. The 50 states are more like mini countries rolled into one and with over 300 million people and 3000 miles between the Pacific and Atlantic Coasts there are vastly different cultures, people, landscapes and climates to be experienced.
Coast to coast, the United States has a host of famous cities, that will be familiar even to those that have never visited. From New York, Boston and Washington DC on the east coast to Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego on the west coast. Chicago and Alaska head up the northern destinations, whilst the south has New Orleans and Dallas.
Entire cities are given over to recreational pursuits. Orlando in Florida is the theme park capital of the world, while Las Vegas offers a more adult playground, lined with the neon temples devoted to gambling and cabaret. For beaches, Florida has the Keys, the Gulf Coast and Miami’s South Beach, though Los Angeles is its west coast rival with Venice and Long Beach being the first names that spring to mind.
The pacific island state of Hawaii is an escape in itself. The United States quite simply has something for everyone and whether it is the great outdoors, shopping, architectural glory, stunning scenery, sun kissed beaches, or the bright lights, you will not be disappointed.
